Department of Quantitative Methods and Economic Informatics

The Department of Quantitative Methods and Economic Informatics functions within the structure of the Faculty of Economics from 1st October 2014. It was created by combining the following units: The Department of Quantitative Methods, The Business Informatics Laboratory and the Department of Statistics and Econometrics. The Department focuses on the study of phenomena and economic processes using mathematical knowledge, information technology and quantitative methods. The area of scientific research is diversified and covers topics relating to the information society, socio-economic development, prosperity and quality of life in a regional context, and companies finance.
