Scientific Project

My main linguistic interests are placed in the domain of semantics and pragmatics as well as discourse analysis. The cognitive theoretical framework, on which I particularly concentrate is the Theory of Relevance. The project I have worked on recently is centred on application of the Theory of Relevance to the analysis of discourse of political speech with the primary aim of evaluating the theory for the discourse analysis and political speech development. The project is based on empirical analysis of Polish data.
