Funding joint scientific publications by PhD students and foreign staff

Unit implementing the project: the Doctoral School at the University of Rzeszów
Doctoral student(s) training unit: Doctoral School at the University of Rzeszów
Subject of financing: only scientific publications of the research or review type (open access type) with the participation of a doctoral student or students studying at the UR Doctoral School and a selected foreign expert participating in the education at the UR Doctoral School or a supervisor of a research internship or a foreign supervisor or a foreign assistant supervisor are subject to financing:
- scientific works published in journals of international circulation,
- scientific works published in journals included in the current list of publications of scientific monographs and scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials of international conferences (in accordance with the current regulation of the competent Minister),
- scientific works containing among the authors a doctoral student or doctoral students of the UR Doctoral School and foreign staff, i.e., a selected foreign expert participating in training at the UR Doctoral School or a supervisor of a scientific internship or a foreign supervisor or a foreign assistant supervisor;
- English-language scientific papers.Amount of funding for one publication: PLN 20,000.00
Number of scientific publications that can be funded (one doctoral student can benefit from support at a time):
- year 2025 - 8 publications,
- year 2026 - 3 publications
Award of funding: funding is awarded on the basis of the order of submission of scientific papers that meet the requirements specified in the Regulations; the decision to award funds is made by the Director of the UR Doctoral School
Required documents: application to the Director of the UR Doctoral School for funding. The doctoral student is obliged to provide, via the UR Doctoral School e-mail address, the complete information necessary to make the payment for the scientific publication, and to provide to the secretariat of the Doctoral School the version of the paper in PDF form after the editorial composition of the article by the editorial board and before the editorial correction or after the editorial correction, the so-called proof or Pre-proof
