Educating people with special needs
- Persons with a disability certificate, chronically ill or unable to fully participate in classes in the standard mode, but not having a certified degree of disability and those whose inability to fully participate in classes is caused by a sudden illness or a loss of fitness due to an accident, but the nature of this inability is temporary, can obtain support at the Disabled Persons Office of the University of Rzeszów (DPO).
- Registration in the DPO is on the basis of a doctoral student's request.
- Detailed rules of the organization and scope of support from the DPO are determined by the Rector.
- If doctoral candidate referred to in section 1 has a limited opportunity to fully participate in the classes, including a limited opportunity to pass exams and obtain credits/passes, he/she may apply for an individual study schedule.
- Doctoral candidate submits an application for granting an individual organization of education to the Head of Doctoral School. Doctoral candidate is obliged to enclose a DPO opinion on the adaption of the conditions, organization and implementation of the teaching process to his/her needs.
- The Head of Doctoral School decides on the granting of the organization of individual education on the basis of the DPO opinion.
