List of required documents

FIRST AND SECOND DEGREE OR UNIFORM MASTER’S STUDIES

 

Dear Candidates,

 

Please remember to attach scans of all the documents required for the recruitment procedure.     

The documents can be attached by entering “personal data/ photo” (“Moje konto”) -> “complete the application” ("Wybrane kierunki), and then “attachments” ("Wydruki"). 

The documents should be attached by:  

- July 11, 2022 by 23:59 - in the case of foreigners and Poles who graduated abroad or passed IB;  

- July 15, 2022 by 23:59 - in the case of  Ukrainian 2022 secondary school graduates.  

The candidates who attach the documents after the deadline will not be considered in further recruitment proceedings.

 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

  • Application for admission and a questionnaire (download from the admissions platform),
  • A testimonial or any other document recognized by the Republic of Poland as a document entitling to apply for admission to studies (photocopy and original available for inspection),
  • 1 current passport size photograph plus 1 e-version passport photo to be upload during the registration via the University admission platform,
  • document confirming your knowledge of a foreign language, the language for lectures in your prospective field of study. 

IN ADDITION:

  • translations of application documents issued in a foreign language made by a sworn translator registered on the list of Polish sworn translators or by a foreign translator and subsequently certified by the respective consular officer of the Republic of Poland,
  • a health certificate confirming your suitability for university studies from candidates pursuing admissions to fields of study with possible contacts with substances harmful or dangerous to one’s health,
  • for candidates below the age of 18. -  consent of parents or legal representative approving of your study at the University of Rzeszów.
    In case the document cannot be signed by both parents, it will be enough to submit the consent of one parent together with the necessary justification.
  • the original of the power of attorney from a notary public, in respect of persons acting on behalf of a candidate,
  • a document entitling you to study at the University of Rzeszów as a non-fee paying student, such as: holders of the Pole's Card, Permanent Residence Card, Polish language proficiency certificate at the C1 level issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language,
  • Candidates that are Ukrainian citizens that legally moved into the Republic of Poland not earlier than February 24, 2022 as a consequence of on-going hostilities in that country and has acquired the status of temporary protection (in accordance with the Act of March 12, 2022 on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with the armed conflict in the territory of that country) are expected to submit a declaration indicating your application for full-time studies at the University of Rzeszów along with one of the above-mentioned documents that confirm your status of temporary protection:
    a) a certificate issued by the Polish Border Guard upon your entry to Poland not earlier than February 24, 2022 or
  • b) a certificate of granting you a PESEL number with the UKR status or
  • c) passport (the page containing your photo and personal data and the other with an entry stamp to Poland with a date not earlier than February 24, 2022),

With respect to foreign students entitled to exemption from fee payments for undertaking studies in Poland (in accordance with Article 324 (2) of the Act on Higher Education and Science, Journal of Laws 2018, item 1668, with subsequent amendments), the Pole's Card or other documents entitling to this exemption must be presented, including:

1)  a document confirming the citizenship of an EU member state, the Swiss Confederation or a member state of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) - parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area and their family members residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

2)  a document indicating their permit for a permanent or long-term residence within the European Union;

3)  a document confirming their temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in art. 159 paragraph 1 or art. 186 paragraph 1 point 3 or 4 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2017, items 2206 and 2282 and of 2018, items 107, 138 and 771);

4)  a document confirming the refugee status granted by the Republic of Poland or a certificate of being granted temporary protection or subsidiary protection within the territory of the Republic of Poland;

5)  a certificate confirming the candidates’ knowledge of Polish as a foreign language, referred to in art. 11a paragraph. 2 of the Act of October 7, 1999 on the Polish language (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 931), at minimum of the C1 language proficiency level;

6)  the Pole’s Card or a decision confirming your Polish roots;

7)  a document confirming one as being a spouse, ascendant or descendant of a citizen of the Republic of Poland, residing in the Republic of Poland.

8)  a temporary residence permit in connection with the circumstances referred to in art. 151 temporary residence permit for the purpose of conducting scientific research sec. 1 or art. 151b, temporary residence permit for the purpose of long-term mobility of the researcher sec. 1 of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners, or staying in the Republic of Poland in connection with the use of short-term mobility of a researcher under the conditions specified in art. 156b- the admissibility of the short-term mobility of the researcher para. 1 of this Act or with a national visa for the purpose of research or development work.

 

In the case of documents obtained abroad, the University may request the candidate to certify that the secondary school leaving certificate or the certificate of graduation entitles the holder to undertake first-cycle or second-cycle studies the country of issuance (if such information is not included in the document entitling the holder to start studies). The university may also require the candidate to provide information on the scale of grades for the documents referred to above.

The registration process will be concluded when the complete set of documents is delivered (or uploaded to the online admission platform) to the Office of Admissions and Student’s Career within the time limit set in the admission schedule.

MASTER’S DEGREE STUDIES

Candidates continueing their studies at the University of Rzeszów ought to upload the following documents to initiate their admission process:

- an application form together with a completed personal questionnaire (download and print from the online admission platform),

- certificate of completion of bachelor’s studies or its equivalent,

- a document that entitles one to undertake studies at the University of Rzeszów as non-fee paying student, including: the Pole’s Card, Permanent Residence Card, certificate of knowledge of Polish language at C1 level issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Knowledge of Polish as a Foreign Language,

- 1 electronic version of passport size photograph (to be uploaded during registration in the University admission platform) and 1 current passport size photograph (see guidelines for issuing ID cards),

 

Graduates of other Polish or foreign universities need to upload the following documents to online admission platform:

 

  • signed application for admission together with a personal questionnaire (only the first page!), (Printed from the admission platform),
  • Certificate of completion of bachelor’s studies (see Art. 69 sec. 3 in connection with Art. 326 paragraph. 1 and art. 327 paragraph 1-3 of the PSWiN Act) entitling a candidate to undertake second-cycle studies in Poland (photocopy and original available for inspection) along with a translation prepared by a sworn translator registered on the list of Polish sworn translators or by a foreign translator and subsequently certified by the respective consular officer of the Republic of Poland,
  •  
  • a certificate or any other document recognized in the Republic of Poland as a document entitling one to apply for admission for studies (photocopy and original for inspection), along with a translation prepared by a sworn translator registered on the list of Polish sworn translators or by a foreign translator and subsequently certified by the respective consular officer of the Republic of Poland,
  • 1 1 current passport size photograph plus 1 e-version passport photo to be upload during the registration via the University admission platform),
  • a document confirming your knowledge of the language with which classes will be conducted in field of study for the candidate is applying.
  • a health certificate confirming your suitability for university studies from candidates pursuing admissions to fields of study with possible contacts with substances harmful or dangerous to one’s health),
  • original power of attorney certified by a notary, if another person acts on your behalf,
  • a document that entitles one to undertake studies at the University of Rzeszów as non-fee paying student, including: the Pole’s Card, Permanent Residence Card, certificate of knowledge of Polish language at C1 level issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Knowledge of Polish as a Foreign Language,
  • any other documents specified in separate regulations.

 

The University may, in respect of documents obtained abroad, request from respective candidates a proof that the secondary school leaving certificate or a degree certificate entitles them to take up first-cycle or second-cycle studies in their countries of issue (if such information is not contained in the original document). The University may also request information concerning the grades contained in the documents referred to previously.

 

In the case of documents obtained abroad, the University may request the candidate to certify that the secondary school leaving certificate or the certificate of graduation entitles the holder to undertake first-cycle or second-cycle studies the country of issuance (if such information is not included in the document entitling the holder to start studies). The university may also require the candidate to provide information on the scale of grades for the documents referred to below.

IMPORTANT!

Foreign and Polish students, holders of a foreign / international secondary school certificates are to register via the online admission platform and to upload scans of the required documents. For verification purposes, the original documents should be delivered to the Collegiate Admission Team within the deadlines set for submitting the documents indicated in the schedule or to the dean's office soon after the commencement of studies.
