On‑site Preparatory Courses for the B2 Certification Exam (12–18 April 2026 and 17–23 May 2026)
Course Participation Requirements
A participant of the course may be a person who knows Polish at a minimum level of B2.
The level of Polish will be verified during a qualification interview, and the result of this interview will determine admission to the course.
Additional requirements for course participants:
A participant may be a foreign national or a person holding dual citizenship (Polish and foreign), for whom Polish is not a first language, and who additionally meets one of the following conditions:
a) is a student/doctoral candidate at a foreign university,
b) is a first‑year student at a Polish university,
c) is an academic employee at a foreign university,
d) is a secondary‑school graduate abroad and holds a document entitling them to apply for studies in Poland (equivalent to the Polish matura) and intends to undertake studies in Poland. This document must not have been issued earlier than 2023,
e) resides outside Poland and is a final‑year secondary‑school student whose graduation allows for application to studies in Poland and intends to undertake studies in Poland.
The University of Rzeszów reserves the right to verify all data confirming the fulfilment of the above requirements. A request for a scan of a document confirming eligibility will be sent to the email addresses provided during registration.
Course Schedule
The courses last one week and will be held on the following dates:

Admission to the course is determined exclusively by the result of the qualification interview confirming knowledge of Polish at level B2 or higher.

1. Course Programme

15 hours of classes for each group

2 hours of individual consultations

A mock exam with discussion and explanation of results
The classes are taught by experienced instructors authorised to conduct the State Certificate Examination in Polish as a Foreign Language and the TELC examination.
The programme includes training in all competencies assessed during certification exams (listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, writing, and grammatical accuracy).
Additionally:

Each participant will receive course materials, including at least one textbook.

The detailed needs of learners will be determined based on a preference survey sent to qualified participants.

Participants will have the opportunity to take the TELC Polish language exam, organised at the University of Rzeszów on 18 April 2026.

2. Other Important Information

The organiser provides free accommodation in the Filon student residence hall (insert link), in double rooms, and free meals (three per day). Meal preferences will be collected in a separate survey.

Participants are required to attend classes and comply with all provisions of the Course Regulations.
