Mission and Vision

Mission

The Centre for Foreign Language Teaching and Certification supports the mission and vision of the University of Rzeszów, as well as the strategic objectives outlined in its Strategic Vision for 2025–2030.

As an interfaculty unit, the Centre contributes to the University’s internationalisation efforts, provides language learning support to students and staff, and assists current and future scholars in pursuing academic success both locally and globally.

Its core mission is to deliver high-quality instruction in general and specialised foreign languages, tailored to the specific academic disciplines of its learners. The Centre fosters the development of students’ communicative and academic competencies, and promotes independent learning, both during their studies and throughout their professional lives.

The Centre actively promotes inter-university and international exchange programmes for students and staff, and supports individuals seeking internship opportunities abroad. It also initiates and participates in collaborative projects with domestic and international higher education institutions.

In all its endeavours, the Centre remains responsive to the evolving needs of students and the broader academic community.

Vision

The Centre for Foreign Language Teaching and Certification is an integral part of the academic education process at the University of Rzeszów. Through foreign language instruction and comprehensive student support, it aims to enhance the qualifications of University graduates and strengthen their competitiveness in the global labour market.

The Centre is committed to upholding the reputation and positive image of its parent institution through excellence in teaching, academic collaboration, and innovation.
