Mission and Vision

Mission

The Centre for Foreign Language Teaching and Certification, as a unit of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Rzeszów, constitutes an important element of the University’s academic education system, supporting the implementation of its teaching, research, and internationalisation objectives. The Centre strives for excellence in foreign language teaching and in the certification of language competences, responding to the needs of students, doctoral students, academic staff, and the wider socio-economic environment.

Through the high quality of general and specialist language education, the Centre contributes to enhancing the qualifications of graduates of the University of Rzeszów, thereby increasing their competitiveness in the national and international labour market. The Centre’s activities are focused on the development of communicative, academic, and professional competences, as well as on fostering attitudes conducive to lifelong learning.

Vision

The Centre for Foreign Language Teaching and Certification aspires to become a modern and recognisable academic unit, actively cooperating with national and international research institutions, promoting academic mobility, and ensuring a high standard of language certification. In all its activities, the Centre is committed to safeguarding the image, prestige, and good reputation of the University of Rzeszów as an open, innovative, and competitive institution within the European and international academic landscape.
