W imieniu Szkoły Doktorskiej UR oraz Wydziału Biotechnologii UR serdecznie zapraszamy wszystkich Doktorantów oraz studentów na warsztaty otwarte prowadzone w języku angielskim z przedmiotu Nanobiomedicine prowadzone przez gościa zagranicznego Panią Raluca Maria Fratila, PhD z Institute of Nanoscience of Aragón (University of Zaragoza, Spain). Pani dr Raluca Maria Fratila prowadzi zajęcia na Uniwersytecie Rzeszowskim w ramach programu STER NAWA – umiędzynarodowienie szkół doktorskich.

Dla doktorantów oraz studentów uczestniczących w ponad połowie przewidzianych godzin zajęć, wystawione zostaną certyfikaty uczestnictwa w wykładach.

 

 

Dr Raluca Fratila is a Tenured Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), at the Institute of Nanoscience and Materials of Aragon, Zaragoza.

She earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Romania, in 2005. Following two postdoctoral research stays in Spain and The Netherlands, in 2013 she joined the Institute of Nanoscience of Aragón (University of Zaragoza, Spain) as a Marie Curie COFUND ARAID-EU researcher. In 2015 she was awarded a prestigious Marie-Sklodowska-Curie fellowship at the Institute of Materials Science of Aragón (ICMA, joint research centre CSIC-University of Zaragoza), followed by a Ramón y Cajal grant (2017-2023) that allowed her to establish as an independent researcher.

In 2023, she was appointed Associate Professor at the University of Zaragoza, and since December 2023, she has been a Tenured Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Her main research interests include bioorthogonal chemistry applied to nanotechnology, biofunctionalization of magnetic nanoparticles, magnetic hyperthermia, magnetic nanoactuators, cell membrane models and cell membrane engineering.
