Students from the University of Rzeszów's English-language programmes joined Erasmus+ students on the playing field for Sports Day, one of the calendar's regular fixtures for getting different groups out of the classroom and onto the same pitch. The day brought together a full slate of games, relay-style team challenges and a fair bit of good-natured rivalry between teams, with students cheering each other on as much as competing. Mixing local English-programme students with Erasmus+ exchange students gave the day an easy international flavour, turning it into less of a contest and more of a chance for students to get to know classmates they don't normally share a timetable with. It's a small but welcome reminder each year that student life isn't all lectures and deadlines.
