From 25 to 29 May 2026, a delegation of first- and second-year MVSC students travelled to Vienna as part of "PROM: Short-Term Academic Exchange," a mobility programme co-financed under FERS and led on this trip by dr Magdalena Trinder and dr Donald Trinder. The centrepiece of the visit was the international FOOTT PRINTTS conference, where first-year students presented a series of research posters covering topics from AI literacy and digital deception to gender inequality in higher education, microlearning, procrastination, the pull of short-form video on attention, marketing aimed at Gen Alpha and student anxiety. Second-year students went a step further, delivering full conference papers on global competencies, the barriers to communication in international student groups, stress and burnout, listening environments and the integration of international students. Prorektor Jolanta Szempruch took a personal interest in the students' findings, and conference coordinator Prof. Mariana Sokol hosted the group throughout their stay. For many of the students, it was a rare and formative chance to present their own research abroad and hold their own in a genuinely international academic setting.
