Our University’s Visit to VIVES University of Applied Sciences in Kortrijk/Belgium  as part of AI Teach — International Collaboration for Modern Education

From 22–25 March, a three-member team from our university participated in the Peer Learning Consortium Meetingof the AI Teach project in Kortrijk, Belgium, together with 38 participants from 6 countries and more than 10 institutions. The meeting was hosted by VIVES University of Applied Sciences and KU Leuven Campus Kortrijk / itec. The programme included working sessions at VIVES Campus Kortrijk and itec, KU Leuven Campus Kortrijk, as well as highly practical peer-learning visits to Flax – House of AI, edtechstation, and GO! Atheneum Zelzate . During the meeting, the consortium further refined the Content Portfolios that will support the development of an AI in Education course for pre-service teachers, advanced mobility activities for both staff and students, strengthened implementation planning for training addressed to teacher educators, secondary school teachers and student teachers, and further developed the shared evaluation methodology for all project activities. These outcomes directly support the internationalisation, educational innovation and future-oriented programme development of our university, while the study visits significantly enhanced participants’ awareness and competences in the practical use of AI in education.
