On 7 March 2025, the Institute of German Studies at the University of Rzeszów hosted the final of the 5th German Pronunciation Competition Sprich dich aus!. The event brought together 11 students from upper secondary schools representing the Podkarpackie, Małopolskie, Śląskie and Dolnośląskie regions. The finalists demonstrated an excellent command of the German language and a very high level of German pronunciation.

The first place ex aequo was awarded to Oliwia Janowska from the II Secondary School in Przemyśl and Nicol Kraus from the Cyprian Kamil Norwid Self-Government Secondary School in Stalowa Wola. Second place went to Mikołaj Skolimowski from the Music School Complex No. 1 in Rzeszów, while third place was awarded to Laura Dzierżęga from the Stefan Żeromski I Secondary School in Jelenia Góra.

The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kraków. Prizes for the finalists were funded by the University of Rzeszów, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kraków.

The organizers congratulate all winners, finalists, participants, and their teachers. The preliminary rounds for the sixth edition of the Sprich dich aus! German Pronunciation Competition are planned for November 2026.
