AI Teach in Belgium: Faculty of Philology Team Strengthens International Cooperation in Modern Education

On 22–25 March, a two-person delegation from our university participated in the Peer Learning Consortium Meeting of the AI Teach project in Kortrijk, Belgium. The meeting brought together 38 participants from 6 countries and more than 10 institutions. It was hosted by VIVES University of Applied Sciences and KU Leuven Campus Kortrijk / itec.

The programme included working sessions at VIVES Campus Kortrijk and KU Leuven Campus Kortrijk / itec, as well as study visits to Flax – House of AI, edtechstation and GO! Atheneum Zelzate.

During the meeting, the partners further developed the content packages that will form the basis of the “AI in Education” course for students and future teachers. They also discussed staff and student mobility within the project, planned the implementation of training activities for teacher educators, secondary school teachers and students, and refined a common methodology for evaluating all project activities.

The meeting produced tangible results that directly support the internationalisation of our university, innovation in teaching, and the development of a modern educational offer. The study visits also significantly increased participants’ awareness and competences in the practical use of AI in education.
