Level and form of study: full-time and part-time Master's degree programme
Course/Specialisation description:
In the educational cycle, the student first pursues core (compulsory), general (compulsory) content and then, according to the study schedule, optional subjects - elective. The process is spread over 5 years of education - 10 semesters.
Taking into account the needs of the labour market, the programme assumes the training of knowledge, skills and social competences necessary for application in professional work in the area of employment. To meet the expectations, the study programme offers a wide range of optional subjects within specialist panels, i.e.
- Aviation Panel,
- Application Panel,
- Pleadings Panel.
Alumnus profile:
The aim of the training is for the alumnus to acquire the ability to use the general knowledge of the dogmatic disciplines of law, supplemented by the theory and philosophy of law and political-legal doctrines. In addition, the alumni will have the ability to use the acquired knowledge in their professional work while observing ethical principles. The studies are intended to teach the student to understand and interpret legal texts. The aim of the studies is also for the student to acquire the ability to use a foreign language in accordance with the requirements specified for level B2+ of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, including a specialist foreign language necessary for the profession. In terms of employment opportunities, alumnus is prepared to undertake all types of applications necessary to practise law, as well as to hold positions in all public and non-public institutions or organisations requiring legal knowledge. The alumnus possesses interpersonal communication and communication skills in the process of legal decision-making. The alumnus is prepared to undertake training in doctoral school. They also have the possibility to further specialise in any area of Polish law.
