Centre for Judicial Practice

The Centre for Judicial Practice is an auxiliary unit operating at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Rzeszów, whose aim is to provide law students with the opportunity to gain practical experience related to the activities of courts and the court process.

The Centre for Judicial Practice offers students the opportunity to participate in mock trials, which allow them to take on the roles of participants in court proceedings. This enables students to familiarise themselves with the course of court proceedings and to understand the practical aspects of procedural law and the functioning of courts.

The main objectives of the CPS are:

  • Practical education: students have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical situations.
  • Professional skills development: students develop skills in interpersonal communication, analysing court cases, preparing documents and arguments, as well as solving legal problems in dynamic conditions.
  • Understanding of the judicial system: students learn about court procedures and various aspects of the functioning of the justice system, which helps them to better understand the principles of the legal system.
  • Better preparation for a legal career: students participating in the Centre for Judicial Practice gain valuable professional experience.
