On October 24, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Finance at the University of Rzeszów signed three new cooperation agreements with secondary schools.

During the meeting between the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Finance, Dr. hab. Prof. UR Bogdan Wierzbiński, and the Faculty’s Plenipotentiary for Cooperation with Secondary Schools, Dr. Piotr Cyrek, and the management of the partner schools:

• Zespół Szkół Zawodowych im. Stanisława Staszica w Grybowie (Stanisław Staszic Vocational School Complex in Grybów), represented by Director Lesław Tarasek,
• Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych i Ogólnokształcących im. Marii Dąbrowskiej w Jarosławiu (Maria Dąbrowska School Complex of Economics and General Education in Jarosław), represented by Director Marta Kurpiel,
• Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych im. bł. ks. Romana Sitki w Mielcu (Blessed Father Roman Sitko School Complex of Economics in Mielec), represented by Director Marta Mysona,

as well as with the teaching staff of these educational institutions, current issues related to the development of education were discussed, and further actions within the newly established cooperation were planned.

The main goal of the signed agreements is to establish and develop research and educational cooperation between the academic community of the University of Rzeszów, particularly the Faculty of Economics and Finance, and secondary school environments.

The agreements aim to support, under the patronage of the University of Rzeszów, the development of students’ talents and interests in the field of economics and finance.

As part of this cooperation, it is planned to implement joint initiatives such as scientific conferences, open lectures, seminars, talks, and other activities of a scientific, educational, and popularizing nature.
