Members of the Scientific Committee of the Conference were Prof. Andrzej Komorowski and Oleksii Potapov, MD. The INM UR team gave two lectures during the Congress and presented one poster: Prof. Andrzej Komorowski gave a lecture in Spanish on the risks of modern technologies in general surgery, while Dr. n.med. Oleksii Potapov gave a lecture in English on the modern application of microlaparoscopic techniques. In addition, lek. Magdalena Wąsik, who teaches UR English Division students, presented a poster on the possibility of reducing the amount of medical waste generated after extensive surgical procedures.
