Information Technology Laboratory
In the two laboratories, classes utilizing information technology are conducted: Information Technology, Basics of Research Methodology with Elements of Statistics (Bachelor's level), Research Methodology, Statistical Methods in Physical Culture Sciences, IT Tools in Physical Culture Sciences (Master's level) are conducted in two Information Technology Laboratories (room 08, room 09, ul. Cicha 2a). Each laboratory is equipped with 19 computer workstations. The basic software includes the Windows 11 operating system, the classic version of MS Office 2024, and the Statistica package. Students log in using individual mobile accounts within the Faculty's internal domain, ensuring secure data access. Alongside the classic "desktop" version of the software, since 2013, each student has access to the Microsoft 365 Copilot service for UR in the online version. The service, under the Microsoft 365 A3 for Faculty subscription, provides access to over 20 applications (including business-class Outlook email, OneDrive storage, Teams, Forms, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sway, Planner, ToDo, SharePoint). The online applications allow unlimited access (also from mobile devices) to information, shared educational materials, contact with lecturers, and continuation of research outside the university premises.
