Faculty of Pedagogy and Philosophy, University of Rzeszów

The Faculty of Pedagogy and Philosophy is an academic unit of the University of Rzeszów, established on January 1, 2025.

Structure

The Faculty consists of two research and teaching institutes: the Institute of Pedagogy and the Institute of Philosophy.

Study programs offered at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Philosophy

The Faculty offers undergraduate (fist-cycle degree programmes, BA), graduate studies (second-cycle degree programmes, MA) and doctoral programme in various fields of study.

Institute of Pedagogy:

• Institute of Pedagogy:

  • Pedagogy – First- and second-cycle degree programmes (Bachelor’s and Master’s), available as full-time and part-time studies, with a general academic profile
    Specializations include:
  • Educational Care Pedagogy
  • Resocialization Pedagogy
  • Social Prevention and Resocialization
  • Media Pedagogy and Cultural Animation
  • Preschool and Early School Education – An integrated five-year Master’s degree programme with a practical profile, offered as full-time and part-time studies.
    
    
  • Special Education – An integrated five-year Master’s degree programme with a practical profile, available as full-time studies. Specializations include:
    Education and Rehabilitation of Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
  • Education and Therapy of Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders
    
    
  • Family Studies – A first-cycle (Bachelor’s) degree programme with a practical profile, offered as full-time studies. Specializations include:

  • Support for the Elderly and People with Disabilities
