Educational Game “An Office Accessible to All”
As part of the Observatory of Public Service Accessibility project, an innovative educational game on the accessibility of public services was developed.
The game “An Office Accessible to All” combines active learning with engaging motivational mechanisms. It realistically simulates administrative decisions, highlights architectural, digital, and information-communication barriers, and allows participants to experiment with solutions without incurring real costs or risks. It teaches how to make investment decisions in the areas of architectural, information-communication, and digital accessibility.
The game was used during classes in the course Decision Games. Students of the Faculty of Economics and Finance, specializing in Business Services Economics and Enterprise Economics, had the opportunity to make investment decisions concerning municipal offices within the gameplay, while developing practical skills in analysis and planning.
