Our Student at the International INSAR 2026 Congress

We are pleased to announce that Wolfgang Kleinhäntz, a 5th-year student of the Medicine, Programme in English, actively participated in the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR) Congress 2026, held on April 22–25 in Prague.

Additionally, Dr. Agnieszka Rynkiewicz from the Department of Psychiatry of the Medical College, has been appointed to the mentor team of the INSAR Cultural Diversity Career Advancement Program (C-CAP).

The aim of the INSAR C-CAP program is to increase the number of autism research projects conducted in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) and among underrepresented groups in high-income countries (HIC). Mentors in the program provide substantive support and training to researchers at all stages of their careers.

During the INSAR 2026 Congress, representatives of the University of Rzeszów – Dr. Agnieszka Rynkiewicz and Wolfgang Kleinhäntz – presented joint international ECHO Autism projects and actively co-developed the ECHO Autism SIG session focused on trauma in patients with autism.

The presented projects are the result of long-term collaboration between the Medical College of the University of Rzeszów and research and clinical centers in the United States, South America, and Europe. They were met with great interest from congress participants, creating opportunities for the exchange of experience and the development of further international research initiatives.

We warmly congratulate Wolfgang on his achievement and are proud that he represented our programme at such a prestigious international event. We also extend our congratulations to Dr. Agnieszka Rynkiewicz on her appointment to the INSAR C-CAP mentor team.
