Rector’s Representative and Commission for Equal Treatment
The Rector’s Representative for Equal Treatment at the University of Rzeszów is Associate Professor Piotr Sowiński.
Reporting directly to the Rector, the Representative serves the entire academic community and is entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Initiating and supporting actions that promote equal treatment and prevent discrimination on grounds of sex, age, disability, religion, belief or worldview, psychosexual orientation, or gender identity, with particular attention to the rights of foreign nationals.
- Chairing the proceedings of the Commission for Equal Treatment.
- Overseeing the timely and proper implementation of the Gender Equality Plan.
