Biogram: Jestem absolwentem Wyższej Szkoły Pedagogicznej w Rzeszowie. Studia magisterskie ukończyłem w 1996 r. Pracę dyplomową poświęconą podróżowaniu koleją w dziewiętnastowiecznej Galicji napisałem pod kierunkiem Prof. Jadwigi Hoff. Od 1996 r. jestem zatrudniony w Instytucie Historii UR – do 2019 r. w Zakładzie Archiwistyki i Nauk Pomocniczych (wcześniej Zakład Nauk Pomocniczych Historii), a obecnie w Zakładzie Historii XIX wieku. W 2005 r. obroniłem rozprawę doktorską pt. „Przewodniki turystyczne na ziemiach polskich w okresie zaborów. Studium historyczno-źródłoznawcze”. Aktualnie jestem zatrudniony na etacie adiunkta.

Research Interests: Travel history, 19th-20th century source studies, transport history (especially railways and postal studies), tourism history, guidebook writing, social history of Galicia, cultural patterns and mentality in the 19th century.

Biography: I'm a graduate of the Pedagogical University of Rzeszów. I completed my master's degree in 1996. I wrote my thesis on rail travel in 19th-century Galicia under the supervision of Professor Jadwiga Hoff. Since 1996, I have been employed at the Institute of History of the University of Rzeszów – until 2019 in the Department of Archival and Auxiliary Sciences (formerly the Department of Auxiliary Sciences of History), and currently in the Department of 19th-Century History. In 2005, I defended my doctoral dissertation entitled "Tourist Guidebooks in Polish Lands during the Partitions. A Historical and Source Study." I am currently employed as an assistant professor.
