Rada Szkoły Doktorskiej / Doctoral School Council

 

W Szkole Doktorskiej UR działa Rada Szkoły Doktorskiej UR.

 

W skład Rady Szkoły Doktorskiej UR wchodzą:

  • Dyrektor Szkoły jako przewodniczący;
  • dziekani reprezentujący dyscypliny naukowe lub artystyczne, w których Uniwersytet posiada uprawnienia do nadawania stopnia doktora, lub wskazani przez dziekanów pełnomocnicy;
  • Przewodniczący Samorządu Doktorantów UR.

 

Do zadań Rady Szkoły Doktorskiej UR należy w szczególności:

  • opiniowanie programów kształcenia w Szkole Doktorskiej;
  • opiniowanie zasad i trybu przyjmowania na listę doktorantów Szkoły Doktorskiej na dany rok akademicki;
  • opiniowanie regulaminów Szkoły Doktorskiej;
  • powoływanie i odwoływanie promotorów oraz promotorów pomocniczych doktorantów Szkoły Doktorskiej;
  • zatwierdzanie indywidualnych planów badawczych doktorantów;
  • zatwierdzanie ocen śródokresowych doktorantów;
  • opiniowanie wniosków dziekanów o zawieszenie lub zamknięcie naboru do Szkoły Doktorskiej w ramach dyscyplin;
  • zatwierdzanie zasad dokonywania oceny realizacji programu kształcenia oraz sposobu organizacji zajęć, a także badań naukowych prowadzonych przez doktorantów;
  • opiniowanie corocznych sprawozdań Dyrektora z działalności Szkoły Doktorskiej;
  • wykonywanie innych zadań określonych w aktach wewnętrznych wydanych przez Senat lub Rektora.

Rzeszów University Doctoral School has a Doctoral School Council.

Doctoral School Council consists of:

  • The Head of the Doctoral School as Chairperson;
  • Deans representing the scientific or artistic disciplines in which the University has the right to award the doctoral degree, or proxies indicated by the Deans;
  • The Chairperson of the Rzeszów University Doctoral Students Government.

 

The tasks of the Doctoral School Council include in particular:

  • giving opinions on the education programs at the Doctoral School;
  • giving opinions on the principles and procedure for admission to the list of doctoral students of the Doctoral School for a given academic year;
  • giving opinions on the regulations of the Doctoral School;
  • appointing and dismissing supervisors and assistant supervisors of doctoral students of the Doctoral School;
  • approving individual research plans of doctoral students;
  • approving mid-term evaluations of doctoral students;
  • giving opinions on applications from deans to suspend or close recruitment to the Doctoral School within disciplines;
  • approving the principles for assessing the implementation of the education program and the method of organizing classes, as well as scientific research conducted by doctoral students;
  • giving opinions on the annual reports of the Director on the activities of the Doctoral School;
  • performing other tasks specified in internal acts issued by the Senate or the Rector.
