On Wednesday, 29 October, the Faculty of Economics and Finance at the University of Rzeszów hosted a scientific conference titled “The Future Starts Today! – Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Rzeszów Agglomeration.” The event was organised by the Rzeszów District, the University of Rzeszów, and the District Labour Office in Rzeszów. Its main goal was to discuss business development in the region and the creation of new opportunities for young residents of the Rzeszów Agglomeration.

During the conference, a letter of intent was signed between the Rzeszów Agglomeration, the University of Rzeszów, and the District Labour Office in Rzeszów. The cooperation includes the establishment of the University Career and Entrepreneurship Development Office, which will support students and graduates in career planning, developing entrepreneurial competences, and building relationships with local businesses.

The new initiative also aims to create a shared database of job, internship, and placement opportunities, as well as to organise job fairs and networking events. The conference featured several discussion panels devoted to, among other topics, regional business development, legal and economic conditions, economic transformation, brand building, recruitment, and the use of new opportunities in the context of contemporary market challenges.
