University of Rzeszów awarded funding from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange for the “PROM – short-term academic exchange” programme

The project will run from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the internationalisation of the University of Rzeszów by enabling short-term mobilities for students, doctoral candidates, and academic and administrative staff — both from Poland and from abroad.

The programme provides opportunities to gain research, teaching, and professional experience at academic centres around the world. Participants will be able to conduct research, attend conferences, trainings, and expert consultations, as well as develop their language and intercultural competences.

The project will cover, among others, students of foreign-language and medical programmes, doctoral candidates of the University of Rzeszów Doctoral School, and academic and administrative staff. Incoming participants from abroad are also planned, which will intensify academic exchange and increase the University’s visibility on the international stage.

Implementation of the programme will contribute to raising the quality of education and research, developing participants’ competences, and building lasting relationships with foreign partners. The project is aligned with the University of Rzeszów’s internationalisation strategy and supports its mission as a modern institution, open and engaged in global academic cooperation.

The PROM – short-term academic exchange programme is funded by the European Union under the project entitled “Short-term academic exchange as a way to enhance the quality of education in higher education and science institutions”, project number BPI/PRO/2025/1/00015.
