The University of Rzeszów Commemorated the Lwów Professors. The Chancellor of the University Took Part in the Ceremony

On 4 July 2025, the Chancellor of the University of Rzeszów, Bogusław Świeży, took part in a ceremony commemorating the Lwów professors who were murdered by the Nazis on the Wulecki Hills in Lwów in 1941.

Participation in the event was an expression of tribute to the scholars who lost their lives so tragically, and a symbol of remembrance for the legacy of Polish science and academic culture. As a successor to the region’s academic traditions, the University of Rzeszów preserves the memory of the victims of this atrocity and actively engages in efforts to safeguard the history of the scholarly community of the Second Polish Republic.
