The Frederic Chopin University Clinical Hospital in Rzeszów (USK Rzeszów) has received PLN 300 million in funding for the construction of a new University Clinical Hospital in Świlcza.

Podkarpackie Voivode Teresa Kubas-Hul announced that the Podkarpackie region will receive almost PLN 600 million to support the development of modern oncology treatment facilities. Among the institutions awarded funding is the Frederic Chopin University Clinical Hospital in Rzeszów, which will receive PLN 299,859,144 for the expansion of its oncology facilities through the construction of a state-of-the-art oncology centre in Świlcza.

The project is scheduled for implementation between 2026 and 2029.
