On 23–24 October 2025, the conference “L’integrazione costa/entroterra per il progresso locale: modelli, politiche, azioni e strumenti a confronto” (“Integration Between Coastal and Inland Areas for Local Progress: Models, Policies, Actions and Tools in Comparison”) was held, organised by the University of Sassari and Geoprogress Onlus – one of the most prestigious scientific associations devoted to sustainable development.

At the invitation of the organisers, lecturers from the Institute of Political and Administration Sciences of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Rzeszów participated in the panel “Polish Tourism and the Russian-Ukrainian War.” Their participation in the conference provided an opportunity to establish contacts with numerous research centres in Italy, which will lead to both academic and teaching cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme.
