On 27 October 2025, representatives of the International Relations Office of the University of Rzeszów took part in the Internationalisation Day organised at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

The event brought together university staff from across the country responsible for international cooperation, recruitment of international students, and the implementation of higher education internationalisation policies.

The Internationalisation Day was officially opened by Professor Wiesław I. Gruszecki, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation. During the meeting, Hanna Reczulska, Director of the NAWA Office for Recognition of Education, together with Joanna Nyga, Head of the Foreign Diplomas Information Team, addressed current issues related to migration policy as well as the challenges faced by universities in the context of frequent changes to legal regulations.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about good practices for enhancing the attractiveness of the educational offer of Lublin universities for international students, to become acquainted with the current support measures offered by the City of Lublin, and to take part in a panel discussion devoted to the challenges of recruiting international students.

The event concluded with networking sessions fostering the exchange of experience and ideas.
