Honorary Badge for Merits in Local Government Awarded to Associate Professor Grażyna Stojak

The Podkarpackie Voivode, Teresa Kubas-Hul, presented ministerial awards — the Honorary Badge "For Merits in Local Government", conferred by the Minister of the Interior and Administration. Among the recipients was Associate Professor Grażyna Stojak Head of the Rzeszów University Museum.

Professor Stojak received the distinction in recognition of her longstanding contribution to the development of local government, as well as her professional and social engagement, which has significantly supported the building of local community identity and the preservation of the region’s cultural heritage.

The award ceremony took place in the Column Hall of the Fathers of Independence at the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Office in Rzeszów, with the participation of representatives of local authorities, public institutions, and distinguished figures of the region's civic life.

In her speech, Voivode Teresa Kubas-Hul highlighted the importance of the recipients’ work and dedication:

“Your attitude, daily efforts, and readiness to act are a source of pride and inspiration for all of us. On my own behalf and on behalf of the inhabitants of Podkarpacie, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and thanks. May the decorations presented today serve not only as recognition of your achievements to date but also as motivation for continued service to our Homeland,” said the Voivode.

We extend our sincere congratulations to Professor Grażyna Stojak on receiving this prestigious distinction and wish her continued success in her academic, cultural, and civic contributions to the region and our Alma Mater.
