Graduation Ceremony of the 2025 Physiotherapy Graduates
On Tuesday, 8 July 2025, the graduation ceremony of the 2020–2025 cohort of Physiotherapy students took place. During the ceremony, 110 young physiotherapists received congratulatory letters, marking the successful completion of their five-year course of study.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Vice-Rector for the Medical College, Professor Artur Mazur; the Vice-Rector for Finance and Development, Associate Professor Józef Cebulski; the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Psychology, Professor Edyta Łuszczki; the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education, Professor Agnieszka Guzik; the Director of the Institute of Physiotherapy, Professor Mariusz Drużbicki; and the Head of the Physiotherapy programme, Dr Joanna Baran.
Among the invited guests were representatives of local government, the National Chamber of Physiotherapists, directors of Rzeszów’s healthcare institutions, the Provincial Consultant in Physiotherapy, and a representative of the National Health Fund. They addressed the graduates with heartfelt words and sincere congratulations.
In the presence of guests, academic staff, and numerous family members and friends, the graduates took the official oath, repeating the words of the Pledge read aloud by Vice-Dean Professor Agnieszka Guzik. Following the oath, the graduates received congratulatory letters from the authorities of the Medical College.
This year, for the first time, distinctions were awarded for outstanding achievements in academics, research, and organisational involvement. The recipients were: Wojciech Rutana, MA; Gabriela Dopiłka, MA; Jagoda Główczyk-Mikosz, MA; Adrianna Tryba, MA; Julia Stec, MA; Karolina Niezgoda, MA; and Olga Trawińska, MA.
Awards were also presented to the top three graduates of the Physiotherapy programme for the 2024/2025 academic year.
- First place and the title of Best Graduate was awarded to Ms Izabela Mastej, MA.
- Second place went to Mr Sebastian Oleszko, MA.
- Third place was awarded to Ms Agnieszka Fic, MA.
The ceremony concluded with speeches from the cohort representatives – Mr Sebastian Oleszko, MA and Mr Rafał Furgała, MA. The speeches were filled with emotion and pride, contributing to the solemn and heartfelt atmosphere of the event.
One of the most anticipated moments of the day followed – the symbolic tossing of the graduation caps.
