The teams of the AZS University of Rzeszów University Club performed well in this year's edition of the Academic League 2025. The Women's Basketball, Women's Handball, and Men's Volleyball teams qualified for the competition.

The condition for participation in the Academic League is a high position in the ranking of the Polish Academic Championships - the ranking is based on sporting achievements in the AMP over the last three editions.

The players of our teams were students of the University of Rzeszów. The competition rules also allowed adult high school graduates who were members of KU AZS UR to join the teams, which our teams took full advantage of. This is an excellent idea to motivate talented athletes to study at the University of Rzeszów.

The Academic Leagues are organized by the Academic Sports Association. The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. Volley Station is the technical partner, Stellis is the technology partner, and Pasja AZS and Forum Akademickie are the media partners.

Throughout the entire edition, there were noticeable differences in the sporting level of the AZS teams competing on a daily basis in the central leagues (Second League, First League, Ekstraklasa).
