On March 8, 2026, International Women's Day, the University Athletics Center of the University of Rzeszów became the venue for a unique sporting and motivational event. The facility located on Cicha Street, at the Faculty of Physical Culture of the University of Rzeszów, hosted “Rzeszów in Shape – Healthy Day with Anna Lewandowska,” which attracted hundreds of participants from Rzeszów and the region.

The event aimed to promote an active lifestyle and encourage residents to engage in regular physical activity. The program included an inspiring speech by Anna Lewandowska, fitness classes led by the Healthy Team, and a joint training session with elements of karate.

The venue was the University Athletics Center of the University of Rzeszów, a modern sports facility operating at the Faculty of Physical Culture of the University of Rzeszów. It was here that the participants of the event were able to train together under the guidance of one of the most recognizable fitness trainers in Poland and a world champion in traditional karate.

Healthy Day was held as part of the Rzeszów – European City of Sport 2026 program, which aims to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among residents. The meeting was not only an opportunity for intensive training, but also for integration, motivation, and celebrating Women's Day together in a sporting atmosphere.

The high level of interest in the event confirmed that initiatives promoting health and exercise are extremely popular among the region's residents. Once again, the UR University Athletics Center became a space for meetings, activities, and sporting excitement, emphasizing the role of the University of Rzeszów as an important venue for sporting and health-promoting events in the region.
