114 scholarships from the Marshal for the most talented students – including 57 from the University of Rzeszów

On December 2, 2025, at the Podkarpackie Innovation Center, 114 scholarships from the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Province were awarded to the best high school graduates who chose to study at universities in Podkarpacie. The University of Rzeszów was the most represented – 57 UR students received the award, which once again confirmed the university's strong position in the region.

The Medical Faculty of the University of Rzeszów stands out in particular, with as many as 49 scholarship holders studying there, making it the most popular field of study among all those covered by the program. UR students represent a variety of fields and specializations, which highlights the university's broad and attractive educational offer.

Deputy Marshal Piotr Pilch congratulated the award winners and emphasized the importance of choosing to study in Podkarpacie, encouraging young people to tie their professional future to the region. PCI President Michał Tabisz invited students to use modern, free multimedia, robotics, 3D printing, textile, and other laboratories that support the development of skills and the implementation of student projects.

The “Scholarships of the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Province” program, aimed at first-year students with high scores on their advanced secondary school leaving exams, has been in operation since the 2014/2015 academic year. Over the course of 11 years, it has covered over 900 people, and the value of the support provided has exceeded PLN 2.2 million. Every year, the University of Rzeszów is among the most numerous beneficiaries of the program, which confirms the attractiveness and high level of education offered by the university.
