"Shared planet – common challenges – different perspectives. How can we grow responsibly?"

During the Subcarpathian Festival of Science and Innovation, the Faculty of Exact and Technical Sciences of the University of Rzeszów presented its wide educational offer and impressive student activities. The event, organized under the slogan “Generation I” and dedicated to technology, space, Earth, and the Polish innovation, brought together numerous scientific and research institutions from across the region. The university prepared several thematic stands, which attracted great interest from participants — both school youth and adult visitors. Student research clubs, students, and university staff were involved in the presentations offering shows, experiments and interacive demonstrations. The programme of the Festival also included the debate “Shared planet – common challenges – different perspectives. How can we grow responsibly?”, led by Associate Professor Grzegorz Wisz who is the Vice-Dean for External Relations and Faculty Outreach of the Faculty of Exact and Technical Sciences.

His interlocutors were:

  • prof. Anastase Shyaka, the Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Poland,
  • Urszula Gacek, the Ambassador of Poland to the Council of Europe and Consul General in New York,
  • Rao Maddukuri, President of the Poland India Business Council,
  • Patrycja Bułaś, student at the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów.
