A Unique Visit to Google
Ahead of the Academic Polish Championships in Team Programming, student teams accompanied by their supervisor, Przemysław Pardel, PhD, visited Google’s headquarters. The visit offered a rare opportunity to experience the working environment of one of the world’s leading technology companies.
During the visit, students had a chance to:
-
explore the creative Maker’s Room space,
-
meet Google engineers and gain insights into their professional experiences,
-
take part in a videoconference hosted by Kamil Brzeziński (Product Manager, Google Cloud, Mobile Experience, Google Poland) and Dawid Ostrowski (Senior Program Manager, Developer Relations, Google Switzerland).
The discussions focused on emerging trends in cloud technologies, the role of innovation in global projects, and career opportunities within the IT industry. It was an incredibly inspiring visit. Students had the chance to see firsthand how one of the most innovative companies in the world operates, talk to experts, and understand the importance of creativity and collaboration in delivering global projects. "I am convinced that that this experience will motivate them to pursue further development and embrace ambitious challenges", said Przemysław Pardel, PhD, the supervisor of the teams and the head of the Academic Polish Championships in Team Programming at the University of Rzeszów.
