Opis tematu badawczego / Description of the research topic	Temat badawczy obejmuje działalność oświatową, pedagogiczną, pisarską oraz wydawniczą ks. Bronisława Markiewicza - założyciela Zgromadzenia oraz praktyczny wymiar jego idei, zrealizowany poprzez organizację placówki oświatowo-wychowawczej dla ubogiej młodzieży męskiej w Miejscu Piastowym. Była to szkoła zawodowa. Zakład ten po śmierci organizatora systematycznie się rozwijał i nieprzerwanie działał przez czasy zaboru austriackiego oraz II Rzeczypospolitej. W szkole w latach okupacji niemieckiej prowadzono tajne nauczanie. Po II wojnie światowej władze państwowe upaństwowiły placówkę. Zgromadzenie odzyskało ją po 1989 r. i ponownie rozpoczęło działalność oświatową. Czyni to do dnia dzisiejszego. W szkole na przestrzeni lat pracowało liczne grono pedagogiczne. Nauki pobierało w niej wielu uczniów. Zgromadzenie dbało także o rozwój bazy dydaktycznej.	The research topic covers the educational, pedagogical, writing and publishing activities of Fr. Bronisław Markiewicz - the founder of the Congregation and the practical dimension of his ideas, realized by organizing an educational institution for poor male youth in Miejsce Piastowe. It was a vocational school. After the death of the organizer, this plant developed systematically and operated continuously through the times of the Austrian partition and the Second Polish Republic. Secret teaching was conducted in the school during the German occupation. After World War II, the state authorities nationalized the institution. The Congregation regained it after 1989 and started its educational activities again. It does so to this day. Over the years, a large teaching staff has worked at the school. Many students studied there. The Congregation also took care of the development of the didactic base.

Oczekiwane kompetencje/umiejętności od kandydata na doktoranta / Expected competences/skills from the candidate for a PhD student	Kandydat powinien posiadać przynajmniej podstawową wiedzę z zakresu historii oświaty w Polsce w XIX i XX w. Powinien umieć pracować z materiałem dokumentacyjno-źródłowym oraz analizować myśl pedagogiczną konkretnych osób zawartą w publikacjach ich autorstwa oraz w istniejącej literaturze naukowej.	The candidate should have at least basic knowledge of the history of education in Poland in the 19th and 20th centuries. He should be able to work with documentary and source material and analyze the pedagogical thought of specific people contained in their publications and in the existing scientific literature.
