Projekty naukowe prowadzone w ramach problemu badawczego mogą obejmować zagadnienia historii, teorii i antropologii literatury polskiej XIX wieku, kwestie tradycji XIX-wiecznych nurtów literackich w kulturze XX i XXI wieku, zagadnienia mitów i legend narodowych w literaturze XIX, XX i XXI wieku, a także problemy i konteksty edukacji polonistycznej (dawnej i współczesnej). Szczegółowe tematy badawcze mogą dotyczyć różnorodnych zagadnień wpisujących się w ramy wymienionych problemów ogólnych, w tym badania interdyscyplinarne i komparatystyczne.

The scientific projects carried out within the framework of a research problem may encompass issues concerning history, theory and anthropology of Polish literature of the 19^th century, the matters of tradition of the literary schools of the 19^th century in the culture of the 20^th and 21^st centuries, the issues of myths and national legends in the literature of the 19^th, 20^th and 21^st centuries as well as problems and contexts of Polish language education (old and contemporary). Specific research subjects may concern various issues within the framework of the mentioned general problems, including interdisciplinary and comparative studies.

Oczekiwane kompetencje/umiejętności od kandydata na doktoranta / Expected competences/skills from the candidate for a PhD student

Kandydat/ka powinna/powinien posiadać sprecyzowane zainteresowania naukowe związane z literaturą polską XIX-XXI wieku i/lub problemami edukacji polonistycznej, a ponadto ugruntowany warsztat polonistyczny (szczególnie literaturoznawczy) oraz umiejętność samodzielnego formułowania problemów badawczych. Dobrze widziane są również doświadczenia Kandydatki/a w prowadzeniu działalności naukowej w trakcie studiów lub po ich ukończeniu (publikacje naukowe, udział w konferencjach lub projektach badawczych, działalność w kołach naukowych itp.).

A candidate should be interested in scientific matters concerning Polish literature of the 19^th to 21^st centuries and/or issues of Polish language education, and moreover well-developed Polish language skills (especially the skills related to literary studies) as well as the ability to independent formulation of research problems. The candidate’s experience in conducting scientific activity during the course of studying or after graduation will be an advantage (scientific publications, participation in conferences or research projects, activity in academic circles, etc.).
