International Cooperation
The Institute of Sociological Sciences at the University of Rzeszów maintains active international collaboration with numerous higher education institutions abroad. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme (and previously under the Erasmus LLP initiative), the Institute offers its students the opportunity to undertake study periods at one of 23 partner universities located in Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Greece, Spain, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Romania, Turkey, Hungary, and Italy.
In addition to sending students abroad, the Institute also serves as a host institution for both students and academic staff participating in the Erasmus+ programme, fostering intercultural exchange and academic mobility.
Since 2014, the Institute has developed bilateral partnerships with sister institutes and faculties at Szent István University in Gödöllő (Hungary) and the University of Oradea (Romania). These collaborations aim to support joint publication initiatives, facilitate the exchange of academic literature between institutional libraries, and co-organise scientific conferences in the field of social sciences.
In the same year, the Institute also engaged in cooperation with the University of Prešov (Slovakia) as part of the international project entitled “PWP – Integrated Development Programme for the Social Work Major at the University of Rzeszów.”
