Emergency Evacuation Chairs for Persons with Special Needs
We are pleased to inform that 10 evacuation chairs have been purchased from the funds of the UR Office for Students with Disabilities. The chairs have electric engines enabling safe evacuation of people with special needs (in case of fire or other emergency).
The transporters have been located in buildings A0, A1, A2, C2, C7, D9, E4, G1, G4, G5.
Training for the administrators of the above-mentioned buildings has also been held. Appropriate evacuation procedures are to be prepared soon. More chairs are planned to be purchased this year.
