Cooperation with the environment

Employees of the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship actively cooperate with companies of different scale and institutions supporting their development. The interaction is not only limited to the exchange of information and research, but it also incorporates taking joint project and conference initiatives, eg .:
  • In 2016 Sanofi corporation cooperating with the Department co-organized expert debate called "The position of Podkarpackie Province and Rzeszow in Poland and in Europe, as a strategic partner for the economy", which was held at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rzeszow,
  • In 2015 Eastern Poland IT Companies Cluster was a co-organizer of the conference. "CONSUMER AND MARKET", which was organized in the framework of the scientific debate on. "Digitization and its impact on business development" with representatives of a business practice.

In addition, employees of the Department are engaged in consulting for companies in the field of marketing research, promotion or development planning and raising funds for businesses.

Employees of the Department are open to new forms of cooperation with institutions and bodies of the related fields of interest and activity.

International cooperation; 

  • The Department collaborates with the ASECU organization - Association of Economic Universities of South-Eastern Europe. Since 2011 the Board member (Management Committee) is our Department’s employee Dr. Bogdan Wierzbiński (in 2015 re-elected for a second term). The Department cooperates with British universities: University of Huddersfield, University of Derby, University of Staffordshire (Dr. B. Wierzbiński is a visiting professor at the University of Staffordshire).

Over the last few years the Department has undertaken cooperation with Chinese universities: Guangdong Polytechnic Normal Universit, Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT), Dongguan University of Technology (DGUT) and South China Agricultural University.

Employees of the Department are also members of international organizations: EIBA- European International Business Academy, EBES – Eurasia Business and Economics Society.

In the next years the Department is going to intensify scientific and didactic cooperation with British universities as well as universities from Guangzhou region in China.
