Opis obszaru badań: Problematyka badawcza obejmuje aspekty związane z szeroko rozumianą oceną sprawności fizycznej młodzieży uczącej się na terenie Euroregionu Karpackiego (Polska, Rumunia, Słowacja, Ukraina, Węgry) ukierunkowana na jej zdrowie. Porównanie stanu sprawności fizycznej opartej na koncepcji H-RF, z uwzględnieniem stylu życia oraz świadomości zdrowotnej badanej młodzieży, przyczyni się do dyskusji o kształcie, roli i miejscu współczesnej kultury fizycznej w promowaniu zdrowia.
Oczekiwane kompetencje wobec kandydata na doktoranta: Język angielski na poziomie co najmniej B2, rzetelna wiedza z zakresu nauk o kulturze fizycznej. Kandydat jest gotowy do samodzielnego prowadzenia badań naukowych, przedstawiania ich wyników podczas konferencji. Posiada umiejętności interpersonalne i umiejętność pracy w zespole.
Research problem topic: Health behavior and body structure of school and university youth from the Carpathian Euroregion in correlation to health-oriented physical fitness

Description of the research area: Research issues include the aspects related to a broadly understood assessment of physical fitness of young people studying in the Carpathian Euroregion (Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary) focused on their health. Comparing the state of physical fitness based on the H-RF concept considering the lifestyle and health awareness of the studied youth, will contribute to the discussion on the shape, role and place of modern physical culture in promoting health.
Expected competences for a PhD candidate: At least B2 level of English, thorough knowledge of physical culture sciences. The candidate will be ready to independently conduct the research and present its results in scientific conferences. Has interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
