Covid 19  - proceedings

In the event of disturbing symptoms suggesting SARS-CoV-2 infection (in particular: high temperature, severe cough, shortness of breath, breathing problems), the student should immediately contact the primary care physician or the nearest sanitary and epidemiological station and notify the college dean via the tutor, the staroste or the head of the field of study, and in the case of a dormitory resident, also the manager of a student house.

From the moment of noticing symptoms suggesting SARS-CoV-2 infection, the student should wait for transport in a designated room where it is possible to temporarily isolate him from other people, or he is obliged to stay at his place of residence (his room) and not leave it until obtaining the operating instructions by SANEPID / Your first contact doctor.

THEREFORE, IF YOU ARE NOT INSURED YET, AND YOU HAVE NOT CHOSEN YOUR FIRST CONTACT DOCTOR, THIS IS THE LAST TIME TO DO IT.

Remember that current insurance is necessary to streamline and shorten the entire procedure related to the provision of necessary assistance by Your first contract doctor.

All foreigners who are currently staying in the territory of Poland are entitled to healthcare services (e.g. medicines) and sanitary and epidemiological tests (e.g. tests) related to the fight against diseases, infections and infectious diseases, including COVID-19. These rules also apply to people who are not entitled to health insurance.

The presented rules are an excerpt from the Rector's Ordinance, which will be available in full on the UR website.

GENERAL THOUGHTS:

The term "sanitary regime" is understood as the current legal regulations and guidelines of the Chief Sanitary Inspector (https://www.gov.pl/web/koronawirus (Link to another page)) and environmental guidelines of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (https : //www.gov.pl/web/nauka/organizacja-ksztaloszenia-w-nowym-roku-akademickim-rekomendacje-dla-wladz-uczelni (Link to another page)).
  2. In the closed common space of the University of Agriculture, it is obligatory to wear masks or helmets.
  3. The presented rules may change depending on the development of the epidemic situation in the country.
  4. In case of any questions or doubts related to the education process, please contact the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education - [email protected]
  5. In justified cases, direct contact is also allowed with regard to classes carried out remotely - each time in compliance with the current rules governing functioning in the sanitary regime.
  6. All current information will be published on the website ur.edu.pl and on the fb profile - uniRzeszow.

DETAILED ADJUSTMENTS:

  1. Education in the 2020/2021 academic year will be provided in a mixed mode

in traditional form (in direct contact):

  • classes at bachelor's, supplementary master's and uniform master's studies in the first year, in all fields, excluding lectures for groups of over 50 people, while maintaining the sanitary regime,
  • classes for which the achievement of the assumed learning outcomes is possible only in the traditional form, i.e .: laboratories, hospitals, workshops and field, field and practical classes, for which specialized equipment is needed,
  • for the 2nd-5th or 2nd-3rd and 2nd year years of the 2nd degree - if the size of the groups and the premises make it possible to maintain the sanitary regime, with the exception of lecture groups exceeding 50 people. (in this case, the remote form).

in a remote form:

  • classes for which achieving the assumed learning outcomes is possible with the use of distance learning methods and tools, both in a synchronous and asynchronous form,
  • classes that, for logistical reasons, cannot take place under the sanitary regime.
  1. The detailed mode of conducting individual classes in specific fields of study will be determined by the Dean of a given College, after consultation with the Head of the Department.
  2. PE classes will be carried out in a traditional form, taking into account restrictions related to compliance with the sanitary regime. At the request of the student or the teacher, after approval by the Director of the Physical Education and Recreation Center, classes can be carried out remotely.
  3. University-wide classes will be conducted only remotely.
  4. Classes carried out remotely may take place in a synchronous mode (with the possibility of direct audio-video contact) and in asynchronous mode (based on e-courses).
  5. Classes at part-time studies, at the Doctoral School, at doctoral and postgraduate studies will be planned in such a way as to ensure the conditions provided for by the GIS and Ministry of Science and Higher Education guidelines, enabling compliance with the sanitary regime.
  6. Duty hours of the instructors are planned both in traditional and remote form.
  7. Work placements:
  • will be implemented in accordance with the study program,
  • if the internship cannot be carried out for reasons beyond the student's control, the internship may be carried out at a later date,
  • it is allowed to implement the learning outcomes assigned to internships in an alternative way, for example by carrying out exercises, project or simulation.
  1. Dormitories - accommodation in UR Student Dormitories is possible. Those interested will be accommodated individually, regardless of the nominal purpose of the room. It is allowed to accommodate two people in a room, provided that the people living together submit a declaration of risk awareness. Details on the conditions of residence in the dormitories are available at - https://ur.edu.pl/student/stypendia-domy-studenta-kredyty-studenckie-ubezpie/domy-studenta/domy-studenta-uni Uniwersytet-rzeszowskiego

JUSTIFIED EXCEPTIONS:

  1. Verification of learning outcomes is possible, in justified cases, in direct contact, while maintaining the sanitary regime, regardless of the form of classes.
  2. Credits and examinations as well as diploma examinations may be held in a traditional form (direct contact), taking into account the conditions resulting from the current epidemic situation.

We hope that the presented principles will help us to function efficiently in this difficult academic year for all of us, and that we will soon return to the traditional model of studying.
