Individual Research Plan

Education at Rzeszów University Doctoral School is based on the curriculum and the Individual Research Plan (IRP).

Doctoral candidate, in consultation with the supervisor or supervisors, develops IRP containing, in particular, a schedule for the preparation of the doctoral dissertation and presents it within 12 months from the date of commencement of education at Doctoral School. If  the assistant supervisor has been appointed, the IRP shall be submitted with the opinion of that supervisor.

IRP of doctoral candidate is accepted by his or her supervisor or supervisors. If the assistant supervisor has been appointed, the IRP shall be submitted with the opinion of that supervisor.

IRP should be submitted to the Secretary’s Office during the first year of education. IRP must be accompanied by the opinion(s) of the supervisor(s) and the assistant supervisor (if appointed) on the IRP.

IRP is approved by Doctoral School Council after receiving an opinion from the council of the discipline appropriate for the doctoral candidate.

Implementation of IRP is subject to the mid-term evaluation during the 4th semester.
