Foreigners taking up studies at the University of Rzeszów are required, besides the formal documents, to submit a document certifying to knowledge of the Polish language at level B2 that will enable them to undertake studies in Polish to the Central Admissions Commission. The non-submission of such proof of competence within the deadline set out in the admissions procedure will be deemed as non-acceptance for studies at the university.
The document certifying your knowledge of the language (for studies conducted in Polish) i s any of the following:
- a certificate of completing the one-year preparatory language course that enables you to take up studies in Polish at any of the units designated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Such a certificate is a document proving the completion of a one-year preparatory language course by NAWA program fellow institutions;
- a certificate of the knowledge of the Polish language (http://certyfikatpolski.pl/) issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Knowledge of Polish as a Foreign Language. The achievement of a minimum C1 competence level, in addition, entitles the foreigner to take up full-time tuition free studies in Polish;
- a testimonial, certificate or any other document confirming the completion of a secondary school abroad, where classes were conducted in Polish;
- a certificate of the knowledge of the Polish language issued by the section for Polish language and culture „Polonus” at the university’s Polonia Center.
