This comprehensive review addresses a critically underrepresented area in pediatric medicine — the diagnosis, risk factors, and treatment of arterial hypertension in children with intellectual disabilities, who often face elevated cardiovascular risks due to obesity, low physical activity, and coexisting health conditions.
