Zaliczenie semestru / Passing the semester

1. Okresem zaliczeniowym w Szkole Doktorskiej UR jest semestr.
2. Warunkiem zaliczenia semestru jest uzyskanie zaliczeń wszystkich zajęć dydaktycznych i praktyk zawodowych w terminie określonym zarządzeniem Rektora UR w sprawie organizacji danego roku akademickiego oraz spełnienie innych wymagań objętych programem kształcenia.
3. Przy zaliczaniu zajęć stosuje się następującą skalę ocen: bardzo dobry (5,0); dobry plus  (4,5); dobry (4,0); dostateczny plus (3,5); dostateczny (3,0); niedostateczny (2,0); zaliczenie (zal.); niezaliczenie (nzal.).
4. Doktoranci/tki I i II roku kształcenia  do końca każdego roku akademickiego zobowiązani są złożyć do Sekretariatu Szkoły Doktorskiej UR następujące dokumenty:
   • sprawozdanie z wykonania obowiązków w danym roku  zgodne z indywidualnym planem badawczym wraz z załącznikiem do sprawozdania (jeśli dotyczy);
   • dokumenty potwierdzające aktywność naukową lub artystyczną doktoranta/ki wykazywaną w sprawozdaniu – m.in. kserokopie zaświadczeń o udziale w konferencjach, publikacje naukowe itp.;
   • arkusz okresowej oceny doktoranta/ki wystawiony przez promotora za dany rok akademicki;
   • dokumenty potwierdzające odbycie praktyk zawodowych, tj.: dziennik praktyk zawodowych, zaświadczenie wydane przez dyrektora instytutu o odbyciu praktyki zawodowej, konspekt zajęć, sylabus przedmiotu, z zastrzeżeniem, że dokumenty te doktorant zobowiązany jest złożyć do końca każdego semestru, w którym realizowane są praktyki zawodowe.
5. Doktoranci/tki III i IV roku kształcenia  do końca każdego semestru zobowiązani są złożyć do Sekretariatu Szkoły Doktorskiej UR następujące dokumenty:
   • sprawozdanie z wykonania obowiązków w danym semestrze  zgodne z indywidualnym planem badawczym wraz z załącznikiem do sprawozdania (jeśli dotyczy);
   • dokumenty potwierdzające aktywność naukową lub artystyczną doktoranta/ki wykazywaną w sprawozdaniu – m.in. kserokopie zaświadczeń o udziale w konferencjach, publikacje naukowe itp.;
   • opinię promotora na arkuszu okresowej oceny doktoranta/ki;
   • dokumenty potwierdzające odbycie praktyk zawodowych, tj.: dziennik praktyk zawodowych, zaświadczenie wydane przez dyrektora instytutu o odbyciu praktyki zawodowej, konspekt zajęć, sylabus przedmiotu.
6. Doktorant/ka w trakcie trwania pierwszego roku kształcenia zobowiązany/a jest złożyć indywidualny plan badawczy. Szczegółowe informacje w zakładce indywidualny plan badawczy.
7. Na podstawie danych z systemu WU oraz złożonych dokumentów Dyrektor Szkoły Doktorskiej UR podejmuje decyzję o zaliczeniu semestru w terminie określonym zarządzeniem Rektora UR w sprawie organizacji roku akademickiego.
8. Dyrektor Szkoły Doktorskiej UR na uzasadniony wniosek doktoranta może przedłużyć okres zaliczenia semestru o jeden miesiąc z zastrzeżeniem, że doktorant ma obowiązek uczestnictwa w zajęciach przewidzianych w następnym okresie zaliczeniowym.

1. The crediting/passing period in UR Doctoral School is a semester.
2. The requirement for passing the semester is to obtain credits/passes for all the classes and professional internships within the time period specified by an ordinance of the UR Rector on the organization of the academic year, and to meet other requirements covered by the curriculum.
3. The following grading scale is used when passing the classes: very good (5,0); good plus (4,5); good (4,0); satisfactory plus (3,5); satisfactory (3,0); unsatisfactory/fail (2,0); pass (zal.); fail (nzal.).
4. The Ph.D. students of the first and second year of education are obliged, by the end of each academic year, to submit the following documents to the secretary’s office of the UR Doctoral School:
   • a report on the performance of his/her duties in a given academic year in accordance with the individual research plan with an appendix to the report (if applicable);
   • documents confirming the doctoral student's scientific or artistic activity shown in the report - incl. copies of certificates of participation in conferences, scientific publications, etc.;
   • the doctoral student's periodic evaluation questionnaire issued by the supervisor for a given academic year;
   • documents confirming the completion of internships, i.e. a calendar of internships, a certificate of completion of professional internships issued by the Head of an institute,  an class plan, a course syllabus, with the provision that the doctoral student is obliged to submit these documents by the end of each semester in which the internship takes place.
5. The Ph.D. students of the third and fourth year of educationis are obliged, by the end of each semester, to submit the following documents to the secretary’s office of the UR Doctoral School:
   • a report on the performance of his/her duties in a given semester in accordance with the individual research plan with an appendix to the report (if applicable);
   • documents confirming the doctoral student's scientific or artistic activity shown in the report - incl. copies of certificates of participation in conferences, scientific publications, etc.;
   • the doctoral student's periodic evaluation questionnaire issued by the supervisor;
   • documents confirming the completion of internships, i.e. a calendar of internships, a certificate of completion of professional internships issued by the Head of an institute,  an class plan, a course syllabus.
6. The Ph.D. student is obliged to submit Individual research plan to the Secretary’s Office of the UR Doctoral School during the first year of education. Details here.
7. On the basis of data from the VU system and the submitted documents, the Head of the UR Doctoral School makes a decision to pass the semester within the time period specified by an ordinance of the UR Rector on the organization of the academic year.
8. The Head of the UR Doctoral School, at a justified request of the doctoral student, may extend the semester crediting/passing period by one month, with the provision that the doctoral student is obliged to participate in the classes provided for in the next crediting/passing period.
